How you'll make an impact :

As a Senior Product Designer - Growth, Commerce, and Identity, you will play a critical role in crafting the growth, retention, commerce, profile, and identity features across SiriusXM and Pandora apps on all streaming platforms.

What you'll do :

  • Play a key role in defining SiriusXM's and Pandora's relationship with current and potential customers and growing our subscription base.
  • Be empowered to find new ways to win the hearts and minds of our audience, translating business goals and listener needs into creative design solutions through sketches, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, visual mocks, and interaction specs in order to deliver effective, differentiated experiences.
  • Develop an understanding of SiriusXM's business goals and artfully balance them with listener needs, championing user needs.
  • Partner with user research to develop a deep understanding of SiriusXM's and Pandora's listener needs to inform design strategies.
  • Dive deep, using qualitative and quantitative data to refine and enhance existing solutions and to discover new opportunities, helping to solve multifaceted problems.
  • Work with partners to define, run, and assess targeted A / B tests to enhance our understanding of customers and optimize the impact on key business metrics.
  • Be mindful of the full ecosystem of listener experiences across platforms and devices, ensuring a cohesive end-to-end story.
  • Collaborate with a team of designers and cross-functional partners to innovate and differentiate our services and experiences and impact SiriusXM and Pandora's core business metrics.
  • Be an active and supportive team member, providing and receiving feedback, asking insightful questions, and recognizing the unique perspectives of each team member.
  • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the product design process by reflecting on and refining workflows.

What you'll need :

You understand and represent the user every step of the way, keeping them at the heart of what you're building while delivering on business goals.

You sweat the details and tie them back to the bigger picture.

You have a strong history of leveraging user research, usability studies, and A / B testing to drive actionable outcomes.

You are comfortable conducting user research and partnering with researchers.

  • You're an autonomous self-starter. You take full ownership of your work and are responsible for it. You are motivated to find the right problems to solve and the best solutions.
  • You are constantly looking for ways to hone your design skills and knowledge and share your learnings with others.
  • You have a solid understanding of today's common design patterns (across mobile, web, desktop) and an awareness of when to innovate beyond them.

You understand how to use design systems.

  • You have a strong habit of sharing your work at all stages to leverage the expertise of those around you.
  • You can clearly articulate the rationale behind your concepts and evangelize on their behalf. You have an earnest, mature, and ego-free attitude that welcomes candid feedback.
  • You are skilled at - and enjoy being - the connective tissue between designers and cross-functional partners.
  • You value and practice patience, kindness, accountability, humility, and curiosity. You understand that having a strong point of view is not at odds with being humble and curious.
  • 5+ years of experience as a user experience (UX) designer, interaction designer, product designer or similar role.
  • Experience with consumer-facing mobile apps, user research, growth design and its practices, such as A / B experimentation and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
  • Design experience for mobile, web, connected devices (wearables, voice enabled speakers and devices), and third party apps.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • A portfolio that shows your skills and experience, highlighting your specific role and impact.
  • Expert-level skills with Figma.
  • Experience with Jira and / or other project management tools (Hive, Targetprocess, Clarity PPM, Pivotal Tracker, etc.).
  • Bonus : Strong visual design skills.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience.

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $128,100 to $150,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
