Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding
A Global Freight Forwarding company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in the Tri-State area.

Responsibilities :
- Identifying new leads / opportunities and closing new business
- Developing relationships and fostering new business
- Networking at events with potential clients
- Cold calling
- Working alongside the vice president and customer service team
- Identifying new target customers within defined parameters
- Researching all clients fully prior to visiting to ensure credit limits are viable and there is a realistic chance of success
- Communicating with clients to qualify prospects and promote the company
- Arranging visits and / or follow-ups
Skills Required :
- Experience working within the Freight Forwarding industry
- Strong sales and business development background
- Excellent customer service skills
