Strategic Imaging is a division of VGM Group focused on the success of our customers. Strategic Imaging combines years of printing expertise and state-of-the-art digital imaging with data management and programming for target marketing and direct mail campaigns.
We offer full-service commercial offset printing along with a full complement of bindery, finishing and mailing capabilities.
Position Summary : As the Warehouse Technician for Asset Recovery, your duty is to ensure that operations run smoothly for Strategic Imaging's asset recovery process and our clients.
Asset Recovery refers to equipment in the community that isn't being used, or that patients want to send back to us. We will send a shipping box and label to the customer so they are able to send the equipment back and the company can refurbish the equipment to reuse for someone else in need.
In this role, you will perform day-to-day tasks involving packaging, shipping, technology navigation, and time management.
Additionally, the Warehouse / Asset Recovery Technician must be willing and able to help with hands-on work and overflow on the warehouse and production floor when needed.
Reporting Accountability : Asset Recovery Lead
Working Location : On-Site in Waterloo, Iowa
Work Hours Classification : 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday, Full-Time, 40 hours per week, additional hours may be required on occasion due to the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities / Duties of the Job
The Warehouse / Asset Recovery Technician will be trained on and must become proficient with : packaging, shipping, tech / software navigation (Brightree, RPA), communication, and time management.
- Fulfillment of Asset Recovery orders
- Learn and understand order fulfillment process for customers
- Plan accordingly with team regarding weekly and monthly goals, or quotas
- Fill in for various jobs on the production floor (handwork, SI fulfillment)
- Provide support to complete warehouse operations tasks
Position Qualifications
Education / Experience :
HS diploma or GED required
Skills and competencies :
- Attention to detail and can multitask at a high level
- Understanding of urgency and getting projects completed above expectations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Discipline to work independently
- Ability to troubleshoot and create solutions
- A passion for improvement
- Excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements :
- Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, misc. office equipment
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
- Moving throughout the VGM facilities when needed
