The Performance Reporting Analyst is accountable for informing the marketing function to help GEHA meet or exceed growth goals by employing best practices to transform campaign metrics into information and intelligence through dashboard development and assisting the Marketing Campaign Performance Reporting & Insights Manager in producing consumer / customer insights, and market trends.

The successful candidate will have a background in marketing campaign metrics manipulation, campaign dashboard reporting in a database marketing environment.

The work will be focused on assessing the performance of large-scale growth, acquisition, and retention initiatives. This position requires an experienced analyst that thrives on using BI tools to provide insights, and market intelligence to help the performance marketing improve campaign results.

The candidate should have experience with BI tools, dashboard design, and assisting with results interpretation. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate and present findings to direct manager for ultimate share-out to all levels of management.

SKILLS

Responsibilities

Own marketing dashboard development and production schedule.

Become an expert in internal and vendor data sources that feed reporting and insights.

Stay current on in-flight campaigns and metadata that drives effective campaign reporting.

Understand key campaign targeting segments for effective closed-loop reporting and test-and-learn campaign functions.

Help inform campaign targeting through results assessment.

Become familiar with commercial campaign and performance database to use for dashboard input into reporting and insights.

Provide reporting that reflects test design, insights, and intelligence on multi-channel market testing, product performance, target market identification, and cohort hypotheses.

Develop key commercial insights to enable segment / product / market / geo-analytical specific campaign reporting.

Report on success of tested marketing tools including response, retention, and segmentation models.

Provide full-funnel visibility for acquisition, retention, and engagement campaigns.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Marketing Research, or similar.

Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.

4+ years data analysis and reporting experience in direct response and omni-channel marketing environment.

Proven record of ability to transform raw data into relevant marketing and growth insights and ability to articulate (verbally and in writing) to inform and improve campaign performance.

Health Insurance data insights expertise, or proven record of ability to learn a new industry quickly.

Firsthand experience with analytic-focused programing languages such as R, SQL, Python, and SAS.

Firsthand experience with popular BI tools with Power BI being the preference.

Strong comfort level collaborating with developers, engineers, and other technical roles for data collaboration.

Purposeful with keen sense of urgency to deliver results.

Strong written and verbal communication across marketing, technology, and business subject areas.

In-depth understanding of healthcare data privacy best practices or proven ability to adapt to the compliance environment of a new industry.

Preferred

7+ years data analysis and reporting experience in direct response and omni-channel marketing environment

Work-at-home requirements

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

The annual base salary range for this position is $74,202 - $104,598 USD.
