Disaster Recovery SME (Cloud)
Location : HYBRID, 3 days in Chicago, IL
Full Time - can only accept USC and GC, no sponsorship is available
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all cloud-hosted data is reliably backed up and able to be recovered / restored in a timely matter.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain a comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery strategy, capability, and execution that enables compliance with established business requirements.
- Play a critical part in helping set strategy for recovery needs as the organization continues to adopt and migrate more to Cloud (Microsoft Azure specifically) and SaaS Solutions.
- Define and integrate IT processes, procedures, guidelines and controls to govern program effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices to support the Firm’s ISO 27001 / 22301 certifications.
- Coordinate resources, including appropriate staff from business teams, to oversee the recovery work efforts of applications and underlying infrastructure in support of a declared disaster.
Requirements :
- Strong individual contributor, able to manage processes and coordinate IT efforts
- 7+ years of experience with Disaster Recovery testing, who can help build the structure, and set / manage expectations with others
- Solid experience with the development of plans, procedures, strategies, risk assessments, business impact analysis, data center assessment, audit reviews, exercise facilitation, contractual review and vendor management.
- Experience in large, structured environments
- Experience administrating Emergency Notification Systems (Send Word Now, AlertFind), LDRPS or a similar planning application.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in IT or related field.
