- Perform preventative, routine, and non-routine maintenance on facilities equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all work on validated systems, including equipment logs, readings, and alarm investigations, to maintain accurate records.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency and adherence to safety regulations.
- Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities to address any urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
- Investigate equipment failures and serve as a system expert for troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Conducts thorough rounds of building utility areas, grounds, and machinery spaces.
- Ensures contractor compliance with EHS policies and procedures, including hot work and lock out tag out procedures.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role, demonstrating the ability to successfully implement maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, water generation, and plumbing systems to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly determine root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures to maintain the integrity of the facilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and maintain positive working relationships.
