Production Assistant (12 HR Nights)

Job Description

Catch, insert and pack finished products coming off the presses. Review final product performing a series of quality checks before loading in to trays or bins.

Perform finishing make ready tasks prior to start-ups. Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed. Operate the Segbert.

Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags.

• Inspect product for quality defects and correct errors as they occur
• Pack, band, and / or sort product into batches, packets and pallets
• Count trays on pallet and compare with shipping documents to ensure correct count / weight.
• Document progress and issues / resolutions to ensure proper reporting across departments / shifts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. - continuously.
• Ability to exercise basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read a standard ruler.
• Ability to visually identify and inspect detailed product for defects.
• Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to coordinate hand and foot movements to operate staple machine.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $ $ / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary

based upon, but not limited to : education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition

to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include
