Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systemsEnsures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organizationOversees the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer softwareImplements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the systemMonitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreementsProvides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgetingManages compliance in Security and Regulatory standardsSome scripting (i.

e. PowerShell and Bash)Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelinesDevelops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database / library of all supporting documentationDrives improvements to processes and design enhancementsCoordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environmentsRequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field or a technical training program with six (6) years of related experienceOr, a High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to multitask and prioritize projectsAbility to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentAdvanced knowledge of operating systems Excellent customer service skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsSystems Engineering Exchange on prem and onlineSubject Matter Expert with Microsoft 365MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or relevant experienceExperience with working within a highly secured and regulated enviromentExperience with Splunk / SEIM logging integration engineeringArchiving, Retention, Support of E Discovery Efforts within an enterprise (Smarsh, ProofPoint, etc.
