The Division of Rheumatology at Montefiore Medical Center & Albert Einstein College of Medicine is actively seeking a dedicated basic scientist with expertise in Lupus and autoimmunity research , for its Montefiore Einstein Institute for Lupus Care and Research.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and manage a proactive laboratory team
- Engage with faculty and researchers for collaborative efforts
- Lead a comprehensive Lupus research program at Montefiore Einstein Institute for Lupus Care Research
What We’re Seeking :
- An MD and / or PhD in relevant fields (immunology, rheumatology, genetics, computational biology, etc.)
- An Assistant or Associate Professor, with an R01-equivalent funding
- Solid experience in a laboratory leadership role
- A strong passion for delving deep into Lupus research, aiming to make a tangible difference
- Keen motivation and enthusiasm to take on a pivotal leadership role in shaping a dynamic and impactful Lupus institute.
Salary Range :
- $120,000 - $180,000. Starting pay for new hires typically falls within the range listed, based on candidate qualifications and experience, as well as other variables.
- We offer LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b), 457 are also offered.
