Facilities / Shipping Coordinator

Your Day-to-Day :

• Performs necessary repairs and improvements of the building and its equipment with direction from the Operations Manager.
• Coordinates outside contractors for facility maintenance needs.
• Monitors operation of plant and facilities equipment and systems.
• Participates in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
• Performs, coordinates and maintains plant equipment preventative maintenance.
• 24-hour on-call status for facility emergencies.
• Manages communication and schedules with third party packaging suppliers
• Ensures all shipping and facility activities are completed as required
• Supports manufacturing activities by obtaining qualifications as necessary to support shop schedule such as machine operator, blasting or painting.
• Supports shipping activities as necessary such as cycle counting, pulling kits, shipments.

Minimum Requirements :

Who You Are :

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team :

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in the use of computers, including email, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents.
• SAP experience preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently
• Effective written, oral, and communication skills
• Problem solving skills to reflect the levels of responsibility
• The ability to identify areas in need of immediate improvements and make recommendations on implementations.
• Results oriented and team player.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
