This team is made up of highly experienced home care professionals that will care for new and existing clients in the St Charles, Lincoln, Warren, and West St Louis counties.
Priority will be given to CNAs or Caregivers that have experience with bedbound patients, knowledge of transferring heavier patients with gait belts and Hoyer lifts and have 2 - 5 years or more professional paid experience.
To be considered eligible, candidates must have a valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
As a full time AW Floater, you will be a vital Caregiver with the freedom to be highly mobile and adaptable in your workday.
The Floater team member will be available to cover private duty, in home shifts when the client's Caregiver is on vacation, sick or for any non-assigned new clients.
The Floater will also step in and help cover shifts in our partner senior living facilities located in O'Fallon, Wentzville, and Ellisville, MO.
FT Floater Schedule : Must be flexible & available from 7 : 00AM - 7 : 00PM, Monday through Friday, and every other weekend availability.

Responsibilities :
Assist the client with personal hygiene such is bathing, care of skin, mouth and hair. Instruct client and family in meeting client’s personal hygiene needs
Provide physical assistance in client transfer, positioning and ambulation, exercises, if outlined in the client care plan.
Change client bed linen as needed, light housekeeping, light laundry.
Clear client’s path of clutter or client’s room to provide for maximum client safety.
Prepare a light meal if visit during mealtime and time permits.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment in proper condition.
Assist the client with ordinarily self-administered medications (open bottles, get water).
Assist with client transportation and errands such as shopping for groceries or household items specifically required for the health and maintenance of the client as well as any medical appointments during the shift.
Apply non-prescription topical ointments / lotions to unbroken skin at the client's direction.
Assist with any Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) not previously listed and within the scope of service and licensure.
Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of age.
CNA preferred, not required.
Must have a valid Driver's license, your own personal, reliable, vehicle and full coverage auto insurance.
Must be willing to do client transportation and errands.
Must be able to work with pets or smokers in client homes.
Must be available for On-Call shifts ranging from 2 hours to 12 hours.
Must be willing to be flexible with their hours and able to work any shift, as needed, to meet the client’s needs.
Must be experience with gait belts and Hoyer Lifts or have willingness to learn.
Must be able to transfer heavier patients from bed to wheelchair.
Must be experienced with bedbound patients.
Must be able to read, write and follow directions, document and have moderate computer and cell phone skills.
Must have 2 - 5 years or more paid work experience as an agency CNA or Caregiver with experience working with aged individuals or clients with special needs.
Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
Must be a team player dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude
Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
Must maintain required yearly training / education as mandated by agency
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and the skills necessary to provide the care appropriate to the age of the clients served.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to participate in physical activity.
Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
Moderate lifting.
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
