Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist specializing in method development for solid-state applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical techniques, a deep understanding of solid-state chemistry, and a proven track record of developing and validating analytical methods.
This role is critical in supporting our research and development initiatives and ensuring the quality and efficacy of our products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Method Development : Design, develop, and optimize analytical methods for solid-state materials using techniques such as XRPD, HPLC, GC, NMR, IR
- Validation : Conduct method validation studies to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal standards.
- Characterization : Perform detailed characterization of solid-state compounds, including polymorphism, solubility, and stability assessments.
- Data Analysis : Analyze and interpret complex data sets, providing insights to guide product development and formulation strategies.
- Documentation : Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including formulation scientists, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve technical issues related to analytical methods and instrumentation.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with advancements in analytical techniques and solid-state chemistry to enhance existing methods and practices.
Qualifications :
- Education : Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience : hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation for solid-state materials.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in a variety of analytical techniques relevant to solid-state chemistry.
- Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with FDA, ICH, and other regulatory guidelines pertaining to analytical methods.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, materials science, or related industry.
- Knowledge of software tools for data analysis and method development (e.g., ChemStation, Empower).
- Experience with solid-state characterization techniques such as XRD, DSC, and TGA.
