We are looking for a Senior Trucking Network Specialist who embodies our vision of fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our trucking partners.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of service quality through effective planning, performance monitoring, and innovative use of IT and data.
In this role, you’ll balance commercial savviness with relationship management, ensuring our trucking network feels like an integral part of the Eveon family.
You’ll negotiate rates, manage lead times, and support our Customer Care Team in resolving issues, all while building a robust and engaged trucking community.
Eveon Containers is an international scale-up with offices in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Charleston SC, USA. We are in the business of repurposing used shipping containers.
Every time a customer buys a used instead of a new shipping container, we save 12,000 kg’s of CO2 emissions. And as there are millions of used containers available, we have big dreams!
Operational Excellence
- Uphold high standards of service quality by setting up SLAs, steering and monitoring performance, planning, and handling administration (such as insurance and documentation)
- Leverage IT and data capabilities to drive innovation and improve trucking operations
- Negotiate rates and manage lead times to ensure competitive and efficient service
Relationship Management & Network Building
- Our truckers are the only face our customers see and act as a crucial element in our value proposition. You understand this and know how to balance relationships with our trucking partners while managing the business aspects of rates, lead times, and negotiations
- Foster a sense of belonging within the trucking community, making them an extension of the Eveon brand
- Grow and strengthen our trucking network using a marketing approach, including events and newsletter campaigns
Support & Escalation
Serve as the escalation point for the Customer Care Team, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and maintaining customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Strong relationship-building skills and a community-oriented mindset
- Ability to balance competitiveness with maintaining strong, positive relationships
- Proficiency in using IT and data tools to drive innovation and efficiency
- Analytical, with a facts-and-figures-based decision-making approach
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, such as account manager, network manager, logistics relationship manager, operations manager
- Logistics experience preferred but not required
- Available for business trips
- Excellent self-management practices
