Description :
Maintenance Technician
- Performs routine janitorial or grounds maintenance tasks such as floor cleaning and buffing, yard mowing and cleanup, painting, and other facility maintenance tasks.
- Monitors general appearance and cleanliness of facility on an ongoing basis and addresses problems in this regard as they arise.
- Monitors operations of facility and agency equipment including IT, heating and A / C, plumbing, electrical systems, agency vehicles and other equipment;
performs routine repairs.
- Monitors adequate inventory of janitorial and maintenance supplies; advises when any supply inventory gets low.
- Responds to client or staff maintenance as needed or assigned.
- Provides transportation duties including picking up agency supplies as needed.
Requirements :
- High school or equivalency diploma and related.
- Experience providing routine facility maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Drivers License.
