GI Technician at Amarillo Endoscopy Center

• Assists with technical aspects of endoscopy under the direction of the physician and / or Endoscopy RN. Maintains and cleans endoscopy equipment
• Provides patient care within prevailing national and state standards of practice and the policies of the facility Communicates appropriate information to other team members
• Maintains aseptic environment during procedures

Education and / or Experience :

• High school diploma
• One-year experience in outpatient endoscopy, surgery or related field preferable
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and endoscopy procedures
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team member and to communicate directly and professionally. Is flexible, reliable, productive, patient-oriented, and self-motivated.
