Responsible for overseeing on the company’s inventory, building cost-effective supply chain process, optimizing warehouse operations, analyzing and building relationships with current suppliers.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains warehouse by initiating and coordinating operational policies and procedures.
- Learning and implementing the company’s inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
- Examine the levels of materials and supplies to determine shortages.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
- Properly order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies.
- Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost-effective deals.
- Develops business relationships with suppliers.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management on a regular basis.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing and material handling requirements.
- Maintains physical warehouse condition by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and managing repairs and replacements as required.
- Delivers parts / orders to clients (as needed).
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Responsible for managing fleet standard operating procedure .
- Ensure that ever-changing prices on items are constantly being tracked and updated.
- Management : Train warehouse helper to be your right-hand person and ensure they can cover what needs to be done in your absence.
They need to be able to perform daily tasks that is required of them and keep inventory accurate.
Tracks high-cost tools being used by techs to ensure that they are always in good working condition and with the correct person.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Effectively works with all team members in a collaborative way and accepts additional job responsibilities outside the scope of his / her position as needed.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, operation, and maintenance.
- Verbal and written communication

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to develop and implement standards and processes.
- Focus on safety.
- Basic level understanding of technical aspects.
- 2 years of experience in similar role.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
