A well known and well regarded Architectural Sign Company in the Boise, ID market is looking to add a local Graphic Designer to their team! This growing company offers their clients valuable knowledge and expertise in Architectural Signage .

Due to the recent growth of the company, there is an opportunity for an Experienced Graphic Design Professional to join the team.

They are looking for someone who is driven to succeed but also has the ability to establish lasting relationships with their clients, both externally and internally.

Architectural Graphic Designer Responsibilities :

  • Design electrical and luminated signs and numerous other types of signs & graphics, with a focus on color management and brand guideline accuracy
  • Create mockups and scale drawings for clients, government permits, fabricators, etc
  • Take and edit photos of finished products for use in marketing materials
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Consult with clients to understand and deliver on their vision
  • Accurately track electronic and paper records related to design jobs
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, support departments, suppliers, etc
  • Learn new technologies and skills for continuous self-improvement
  • Check customer files for quality and clean up
  • Prepare artwork for production and sending to vendors

Architectural Graphic Designer Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of previous experience in graphic design with a sign or graphics company. Must have strong command of major graphic programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Candidate needs to be organized, creative, motivated and comfortable working within deadlines. Outstanding oral and written communication skills a must.

  • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDraw, Word, Excel, Outlook software proficient
  • Ability to accurately uphold our client’s brand guidelines, including color management
  • Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
  • Able to sit and view a computer screen for long periods
  • Demonstrated ability to learn the technical aspects of the sign business
