Job Description
Calibration Technician needed for day shift. Pay will be $30-$34 an hour and based on experience.
Job Summary : Maintain, test and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment. The primary job is to make sure that instruments, gauges, and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan, check, set up, and calibrate measurement equipment in a laboratory environment calibrating laboratory standards and basic Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and / or process equipment.
- Use calibration standards to calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair M&TE / process equipment using approved calibration procedures, process specifications, equipment drawings, and M&TE / process equipment manufacturer's performance specifications.
- Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results.
- Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
