JOB SUMMARY
Optis Consulting is actively seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Vancouver Toronto Calgary New York City or Salt Lake City team.
As the Business Development Representative you will spearhead account management drive data analysis and pioneer new business opportunities.
We seek a driven professional motivated by challenges with tenacity a proactive approach and a proven track record in sales within Enterprise SaaS Procurement or Supply Chain software / services.
This is a n account management and demand generation role working with large enterprise accounts and Clevel executives collaborating with our Alliance Sales and Marketing Team s .
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Optis sales leadership in building and maintaining relationships with account executives at our software alliances to increase sales
- Prepare materials for conversations with stakeholders
- Utilize analytical tools and methods to extract meaningful insights on our prospective clients to improve prospecting and account strategy
- Coordinate activities / actions and ensure consistency of sales processes across Optis sales staff
- Drive demand for software alliance events Optis owned events and tradeshows
- Own follow up and nurture leads from events
- Manage inbound demand from Optis website conversions
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Optis service offerings and value proposition as well as those of our software partners (Coupa Ivalua SAP Ariba and GEP)
- Work in Excel to analyze account data for Optis
- Conduct outbound sales efforts to drive lead generation both via email phone LinkedIn etc.
- Stay current on company offerings and industry trends
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 years of experience as a sales development resource / business development resource in Enterprise SaaS Procurement or Supply Chain software and / or services
- 6 months in field sales preferred but not required
- Ability to prospect across multiple platforms (phone email social media etc.)
- Consistent track record of achieving targets for qualified meetings or opportunities
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Procurement or Supply Chain Domain knowledge is preferred

SALARY
$60000 $70000 per year plus 30% of variable compensation.
