Job Description
What you will bedoing :
- Conduct initial consultationwith clients and identify the appropriate strategy to meet theirobjectives.
- Draft estate planning documentsincluding wills distinct types of trusts ancillarydocuments.
- Selfstart meet deadlines prioritizemanage multiple projects simultaneously work well with change in afastpaced environment.
- Regularly consult withclients accountants financial advisors and other parties as neededto effectively move cases forward.
- Cultivaterelationships with the firms existing and future clients bymaintaining consistent and timely communication.
- Report on caseload at a weekly case reviewmeeting.
- Develop a client following toincrease the firms revenues.
Experience you will need :
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed with theCalifornia State Bar.
- Preferred 3 years ofestate planning experience handling matters from inception toconclusion including meeting with clients developing a strategy foran estate plan and preparing the appropriate estate plandocuments.
- Effective clear concise andaccurate communication both oral and written.
- Working knowledge of finance investments andtaxes.
- Focus under pressure and thewillingness to do what needs to be done.
- Demonstrated high degree of discretion confidentialityand integrity.
- Strong computer skills withextensive experience using MS Office Suite timekeeping and casemanagement software.
- Experience with WealthCounsel drafting is desired.
