  • Salary range : $105,000 - $125,000

Overview of the Assistant Controller role :

  • Lead the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close processes
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Partner with the Controller on audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor requests
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff, fostering professional growth
  • Act as a key liaison between the accounting department and senior management

    • Preferred qualifications for the Assistant Controller :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
