About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, naturally caring, and enthusiastic medical assistant to join our team. As a medical assistant at Joint Relief Institute, you will be one of the first impressions of the office, and strong customer service skills are a must! We are interested in individuals looking for a career opportunity in the medical field, and we provide great hands-on experience for those looking to gain more clinical experience.

You will assist providers and work in tandem with our healthcare team to provide the best experience for our patients. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about our patients and team members.

Required Hours

Monday : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Tuesday : 9 : 00am - 6 : 00pm

Wednesday : 9 : 00am - 6 : 00pm

Thursday : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Friday : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

One day off per week rotating.

Job Type : Full-time

Location : Joint Relief Institute - Orland Park, IL

Pay : $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Bonus is not capped

Responsibilities for this position :

  • Greeting patients.
  • Collecting copays.
  • Assisting with patient care.
  • Input and management of electronic medical records through web-based software.
  • Set up and inventory all medical supplies and medications for clinical staff.
  • Scheduling future appointments for patients.
  • Cleaning of rooms and common areas.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred. Bi-lingual candidates with no experience who display excellent customer service and people skills may be considered.
  • This is a full-time position. No weekends.
  • Compensation commensurate with previous work experience, customer service skills, and your ability to learn quickly.
