We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our team in the construction / contractor industry located in San Clemente, California.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling payroll coordination and performing accounting specialist duties. You will also be tasked with various project accountant type duties, dependent on capacity.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Handle accounting specialist tasks as required, including managing accounts payable and receivable
- Utilize accounting software systems, such as SAGE 300, to manage financial tasks efficiently
- Perform project accountant duties as needed, including managing financial project details
- Work with other team members to ensure smooth functioning of accounting operations
- Utilize timekeeping systems like Kronos for accurate payroll processing
- Manage 401k - RRSP Administration tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Address any payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Continuously monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently
