The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. It’s Work That Matters. Overview Position Summary : The Clinical Practice Leader is a clinician with an expert knowledge base, complex decision-making skills, and clinical competencies.

The Clinical Practice Leader has primary responsibility for providing clinical expertise and practice, education and quality improvement in their assigned department or specialty.

The Clinical Practice Leader will work in conjunction with the leadership team of their department / specialty. The Clinical Practice Leader will actively participate with interprofessional teams in the development of policies and procedures, patient care protocols, and standards of practice and education.

The Clinical Practice Leader will also demonstrate commitment to staff and patient and family -focused model of care. Minimum Qualifications : 3- 5 years clinical experience, teaching, quality improvement experience in a healthcare environment.

Pediatric experience required. Ambulatory clinic experience, CDPH / Regulatory background work, Research / consultative work with multiple leaders on best practice experience preferred.

Education / Licensure / Certifications : Masters of Nursing degree required; Doctoral degree preferred. Current California licensure (RN / NP / ) in respective discipline required.

Current BLS & PALS Provider Card Required. Specialty Related Certification Required. Pay Scale Information $94,224.00-$169,728.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
