We are seeking Full and Part Time Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers
- Experience with Mexican food a plus
- Must be hardworking team player
- Spanish a plus
- Willing to train the right candidate
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- PUNCTUAL in regards to scheduling and attendance policy.
- Adhere to food quality standards including consistency and preparation
- Prepare food items in order to prescribed recipes
- Safely and efficiently use knives, utensils, and other tools & equipment necessary to complete preparation of menu items
- Observe and practice all safety and sanitation guidelines & procedures
- Commit to long hours of work to complete tasks when necessary
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe to meals.
- Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
- Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and taking temperature
- Wash, peel, cut, and shred vegetables and fruits.
- Prepare menu items with different preparation times to be completed at the same time
PHYSICAL DEMANDS + WORK ENVIRONMENT :
- Perform calmly and effectively in a busy environment
- Be able to stand and walk an entire shift
- Communicate in English in order to comprehend, follow, & perform job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Can work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels
- Exposure to extreme heat
- The noise level can be loud
- Occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
