Responsibilities :
- Making custom-blended smoothies the Smoothie King Way
- FRIENDLY UPSELLING of our nutritional supplements and vitamins
- Maintain health and food safety standards
- Providing guests with information regarding our products
- Daily work is driven by opening and closing checklists that include cleaning, prepping, and organizing for future shifts
- Providing the best TOTAL experience to our guests!
Qualifications :
- Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a "guest comes first" attitude.
- Energetic and dynamic individuals who are excited about health and fitness
- Work with staff to accomplish all goals
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
- Food Service experience preferred but not required
- Commission Sales experience helpful
- Must be punctual
- Ability to think outside the box to satisfy our guests
- Must effectively plan and manage personal time vs. work time on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Genuine care and understanding for people's needs
- Must be able to read order tickets to prepare smoothies
- Prior retail sales experience in the Nutrition / Fitness Industry is a PLUS!
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and / or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, grains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety.
