We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk based in GREENWICH, Connecticut. This role is within the finance industry and involves supporting our team with the accurate and efficient input of financial data.

You will be responsible for auditing financial statements and ensuring all documentation meets compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input financial data into our system, including schedules, balance sheets and income statements
  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain an organized and secure document source for financial statements and related notes
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to financial statements and data entry
  • Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions based on account status
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to organize files and perform calculations
  • Provide excellent customer service through email correspondence
  • Perform scanning and typing tasks as needed within the role
  • Use your finance skills to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data entry processes
  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Data Entry Clerk or related position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with email correspondence and ability to respond professionally to inquiries and complaints.
  • Ability to organize and manage files effectively.
  • Experience in performing calculations and working with numerical data.
  • Proficiency in scanning documents and other administrative tasks.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Knowledge or experience in finance is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in related fields are a plus.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrable ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
