The Part Time Dental Assistant will be responsible for patient EDR and chair side assisting along with greeting clients and ensuring orderly flow of the daily schedule.
The Dental Assistant will be located at the Health Center at Dream Catcher Plaza in Oneida, NY. Ideal candidates will have a formal education in Dental Assisting or at least 5 years of professional Dental Assistant experience.
$18 to $22.50 / hr

Skills and experience you will bring to us :
- The Dental Assistant will maintain patient information; updates records or forms, health summaries and medical information electronically or manually as needed.
- The Dental Assistant will provide set-up, breakdown, and cleaning of all dental units as well as proper barrier placement to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and high-quality dental care.
Your knowledge that matters most for this role :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal education in Dental Assisting or at least 5 years of professional Dental Assistant experience.
- Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a positive patient experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Provide chairside assistance and anticipate the needs of dental provider
