PROJECT ENGINEER

What is the Opportunity?

Responsible for providing technical support and field service as necessary to support system expansions, operations, operator training, warranty commitments, sales and administrative goals in water purification, reclamation, and wastewater treatment for the micro-electronics industry.

The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ

Expected domestic travel is 10-40%.

What is the role?

• Responsible for the service function of Water Treatment Systems.
• Analyzes specifications and contract documents to determine characteristics of job and to establish engineering objectives.
• Provide solutions to Ovivo's clients to enhance system performance, increase system capacity, and reduce the environmental impact of systems.
• Develops leads and prospects for new sales, contacts prospects, prepares and delivers technical presentations for new business proposals.
• Generate a variety of drawings and perform required calculations while effectively managing engineering hours and meeting schedules.
• Maintains contact with current customers for new requirements, technical advice, quality problems, new developments, etc.

• Provides service to customer accounts including installations, lab testing, data analysis, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, report generation, and interfacing at all levels.
• Develops and initiates engineering solutions to ensure proper operating parameters are being maintained for customer's systems.
• Responsible for generating technical reports, procedures, and project schedules.

Does this sound like you?

• B.S. degree in the Chemical or Mechanical Engineering discipline is required from an accredited university.
• Competency in Autodesk Plant 3D Design Suite; Revit, MS Suite
• Relevant experience in a water treatment industry or Semiconductor Wafer Fab environment with UPW & WWT will be required.
• Training and Experience in CAD and piping skid design are preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor water and wastewater chemistry and typical semiconductor waste streams.
• Knowledge of water treatment technologies including filtration, membrane treatment, ion exchange treatment, and reclaim water treatment.
