Job Title : Medical Staff Scheduler (Temp-to-Hire)

Location : Central Arkansas (72022) This is an On-site position with possibility of a Hybrid Schedule after training.

Position Type : Temp-to-Hire

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. May need to work outside of office hours for last-minute scheduling conflicts.

Job Summary :

The Medical Staff Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling nursing staff for PRN shifts and travel nurse assignments.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare staffing.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will initially be temporary, with the potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in healthcare scheduling or staffing is preferred.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Tech-savvy, with proficiency in scheduling software or apps.

Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Schedule nursing staff for PRN shifts and travel nurse assignments using various scheduling tools and apps.

Ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain quality patient care.

Communicate with healthcare facilities to understand their staffing requirements.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records.

Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

Assist with sourcing and recruiting tasks as needed.
