Job Summary :
Prep / Line Cooks will arrive on time to prepare and serve our delicious menu to our growing customer base. Cooks will prepare and serve our food with a smile and respond appropriately to the flow of business.
Downtime will be used to prep and clean. Accurately preparing ordered menu items during peak rush times is essential. We have a growing menu that is expanding with our full-service restaurant.
Prep / Line cooks who possess a positive attitude and leadership qualities will likely find advancement opportunities.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Operating Point Of Sales system
- Prepare cold foods, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Prepare food in a fast-paced kitchen
- Expedite orders while maintaining food being cooked on flat top, fryers, and ovens
- Observe and test food to determine quality and safety by regulating temperature of ovens, grills, and fryers
- Cook foods by baking, roasting, frying, and grilling
- Maintain inventory / stock freezer, refrigerator and storeroom, prep tables, and utilize the FIFO system of rotation
- Prepare dinner items prior to service based on typical volume of each night using standard FIFO Guidelines
- Assist and train other kitchen personnel in proper guidelines in temperature control and sanitation of work stations
- Craft delicious food that connects guests to our signature bowling experience that exhilarates the taste buds and nourishes the soul
- Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by management
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Background as a prep / line cook or related experience, including expert knife skills, preferred but not required - We will train you!
- Basic Understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work well as part of the team
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene
- Ability to learn restaurant menu and recipes
- Follow uniform standards
- Have effective communication skills
- Have problem solving abilities
- Be self motivating and organized
- Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to stand and work through the duration of shift (8 Hours). This position will spend 100% of the time standing
- Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs sometimes and 35 lbs regularly
- Must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours
- Manual dexterity to ensure proper operation of kitchen utensils and cutting tools
