Forklift Operator Details :

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Monday through Saturday)
• 1st shift : 5 : 30 am to 4 pm
• 2nd shift : 4pm-2 : 30amovertime may be required 10-12 hours shiftsSaturday's may be requiredYour shift will rotate from 1st shift to 2ns shift every 2 montsh.
• Operate forklifts to load pallets to and from flatbeds.
• Performs a safety check of the forklift to ensure it is safe to operate.
• Check fluid levels for oil, water, and fuel before operating the lift
• Ensures the packaging lines have empty pallets available and informs the supervisor of the pallet inventory
• Removes palletized bags from the production lines and places them on the stretch-wrapper
• Operates the stretch-wrapper and changes the stretch film as required
• Place palletized bags in inventory and ensure they are located in the proper rows storing them neatly without damaging other inventory
• Reads the BOLs and places the correct quantity and SKU on the carrier's trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs physical inventory counts of finished goods as required

Forklift Operator Qualifications :

• This is a strict NON-NICOTINE facility-
• Applicant will be subject to a Nicotine test
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing facility
• Ability to work in a dusty environment, hot / cold / rainy weather
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to climb ladders and work on their feet for most of the day
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
