We are seeking an experienced and proactive Director of Accounts Receivable to lead our financial operations and manage our team of Business Office Managers across multiple facilities.
Job Summary :
As the Director of AR, you will manage the accounts receivable functions across all facilities, overseeing collections, billing processes, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
You will lead a team of Business Office Managers, fostering effective management practices to achieve financial goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and streamline AR and collections processes across multiple facilities to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Provide leadership to a team of Business Office Managers, ensuring optimal performance, training, and development.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze monthly AR reports to assess performance and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial processes across departments.
- Resolve complex billing issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong payer relationships.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, presenting reports to senior management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent SNF / LTC experience, or need not apply.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in AR management, preferably in healthcare, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a multi-facility environment.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, with expertise in long-term care billing and collections.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
