SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES : The S taffing Coordinator is an integral part of the management team, a leader who works hand in hand with the DON in staffing appropriately, helping maintain direction and ease in scheduling and staffing.
A Staffing Director / coordinator develops and maintain a good working rapport with interdepartmental employees, as well as other departments within the facility.

You will be a great Staffing Coordinator because you have
- Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator / Director within a nursing center or healthcare setting - desired!
- Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate a high level of flexibility and ability to handle stress, change, and unexpected occurrences
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Itemized Duties & Responsibilities for Staffing Coordinator :
- Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
- Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
- Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning the staff / scheduling needs to reduce / eliminate problems.
- Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms.
- Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure work sheets / time schedules are up to date.
- Answer employee calls regarding staffing / scheduling functions.
