The position of MaintenanceSupervisor is responsible for leading and managingall maintenance roles and processes on 3rdshift in the Ripon WI facilities.
This role is responsible for executing the maintenanceprocess establishing a reliability focus and ensuring a culture ofcontinuous improvement.
This position also provides leadershipfirstline supervision technical assistance and training for a staffof industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians.
This position is responsible for executing unit goals andobjectives supervising assigned personnel and directing daytodayactivities on their assigned shift.
Duties and responsibilities arecarried out with considerable independence within the framework ofestablished policies procedures and guidelines.
Work and resultsare reviewed through inspection and analysis of records reportscompleted work orders and equipment performance.
This positionreports to the Maintenance Manager.
This is a 3rd shift position 5 days / 8hourshifts. Sunday through Thursday 10pm6am
Responsibilities
- Create a safety culture and apply and implementworkplace policies.
- Build strong interpersonalrelationships with hourly team members union and managementteams.
- Ensure completed work orders containingactual hours and completion comments are submitted by thetechnicians daily.
- Track analyze and improvekey performance indicators (KPI) such as safety asset utilizationmaintenance cost PM compliance and schedulecompliance.
- Assist in scoping corrective workorders as needed with the MaintenancePlanners.
- Manage and develop weekly schedulesfor shift technicians and help prioritize emergency jobs as theyarise.
- Evaluate team member performance andencourage continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Knowledge / Experience / Education
- Associate degree in EngineeringElectroMechanical or business management is desirable althoughsignificant experience and special training may be acceptable inlieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years maintenanceexperience in a skilled position and 2 or more years of experienceas maintenance supervisor / teamleader.
- Knowledge of mechanical electrical andfacilities equipment with the ability to fluently read andunderstand prints in all areas.
- Knowledge ofmanufacturing processes and the functionality of equipment(stamping automated fabrication machining paint process) in thoseprocesses.

PhysicalRequirements
Stoopingbending standing for long periods of time manual dexterity and ableto lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Must have :
