Accounts Payable Clerk :
Location : Daphne, AL Department : Financial

Join our Team
We are currently expanding and are looking for a highly skilled and driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! This team member would be responsible for managing daily tasks and should be familiar with proper accounts payable protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure accounts payable activity is input and updated within the established timeframe.
- Reviews invoices for approval, proper expense allocation, proper posting to accounting periods and appropriate documentation.
- Ensure accounts payable journal entries are accurately prepared for timely posting.
- Prepares accurate month-end and year-end payable reports and reconciliations within established deadlines.
- Filing, mailing, and other duties as needed.
- Maintains patient and organization confidentiality at all times.
Key Qualifications :
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Accounting or related field required. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payable.
- Good computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; Excel skills must be intermediate.
- Accurate use of 10-key and skills in mathematical applications must be demonstrated.
- Must possess good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
