We are seeking an experienced hands-on Operations Manager that possesses the demonstrated skills to drive the successful performance and delivery of our growing Construction Management / Engineering firm in Mineola, NY.

The ideal candidate is a take charge leader that is comfortable and capable of managing, and implementing operation strategies, structure, and processes.

You will have the ability as the Operations Manager to effectively run the day- to- day operations of our growing CM / Engineering firm while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead, motivate, and support a small team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations, projects, and systems to carry out Laland Baptiste’s goals and objectives.

Maintain and increase the efficiency of the business by building and maintaining business relationships with current and potential clients.

Lead all departments within the company.

Supervise, hire, and train employees, manage quality assurance programs, and strategize process improvements, as well as additional duties that may be assigned.

Deliver customer service excellence.

Conduct budget development and reviews and report cost plans to upper management.

Monitor employee performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.

Evaluate the organization’s structures and procedures such as decision-making regarding increasing market capitalization.

Represent Laland Baptiste at events and media appearances.

Assess and negotiate differences both internally and externally to promote our core company philosophy and standards.

Organize meetings with executives and department heads to discuss management plans and the company’s direction.

Create and oversee informative presentations; present and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, conferences, etc.

Maintain a database of prospective client information.

Assist with the creation of marketing material for events and proposals and supervise / review technical proposals.

Required skills and qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.

Superior communication skills both verbal and written.

Five or more years of proven success in an Operations Management role in a Construction or Engineer firm.

Strong working knowledge of management software programs.

Proficient IT skills, including database development, and all Microsoft Office Suite products.

Keen ability to communicate important policy and process changes to a broad / diversified team.

Job Location : On-Site at our Corporate Office in Mineola, New York. This is a long-term growth opportunity.

Pay Rate : Up to $120K Base Salary (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.)
