ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Roles and Responsibilities :
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for system design for electric and hybrid vehicle applications. As part of a team, he / she will also be involved in system integration and validation of high voltage powertrain systems.
Job Description :
- System architecture design for electric / hybrid vehicle to meet the functional performance and safety requirements.
- Integration of the systems element, system validation, and reporting.
- Work with the electrical hardware, controls, software, and mechanical engineering teams to define and implement optimal and practical systems.
- Preparing system DFMEA
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in power electronics or electrical engineering, with more than 4 years of industry experience with system engineering for electric or hybrid vehicle applications.
- Experience in powertrain integration, high voltage system integration, and Validation for electric or hybrid vehicles.
- Strong experience with power electronics for electric and / or hybrid vehicles
- Good experience in using CAN tools and analysis and debugging of CAN messaging.
- Experience with DFMEA and failure analysis.
- Experience with power electronic inverter, battery management system (BMS), onboard and offboard EV chargers, master ECU.
- Understanding of hardware / circuit design concept
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong team player and good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestic and support field issues analysis.
