Job Description
The City of Pueblo wants to hire you as an Airport Operations / Maintenance Worker! Duties and tasks include building and basic mechanical trades, performing inspections, enforcing rules and regulations, and monitoring and reporting airfield conditions and performing other tasks to ensure compliance with FAA / TSA standards.
This position also assists with the management of airport disasters and emergencies at or near the Pueblo Memorial Airport.
After you complete 6 months of employment, you will promote to Airport Operations / Maintenance Specialist!

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least six (6) months of successful, documented paid experience in general building maintenance and repair (specifically auto, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience)
- A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
- License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification
- During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications at the time of application, within six months of appointment the employee must :
- Upgrade and convert the Colorado driver’s license to a Colorado Commercial Class B Driver’s License
- Obtain a TSA clearance
