We co-create and supply our partners with hot-cooked products including sauces, cheese sauces, soups, chilis, and marinades.
Our cold-processed products include dressings, sauces, spreads, and batters.
We are a fast-growing food organization with 2 production facilities and 1 Distribution Center in Southern California.

Job Purpose :
The Vice President of Quality Assurance will oversee the activities of the Quality Assurance Department. Provide management technical support to all departments pertaining to matters of Food Safety and Quality.
The VP will interact with the Quality Assurance department Supervisor and Technicians to provide leadership and guidance and achieve a wholesome product to the customer.
Job Functions :
- Provide leadership and guidance to achieve the objectives of the firm for a safe and quality product.
- Oversee all activities for the QA Department that are required by the QA Technicians and Supervisor and ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Continually elevate and strive for improvement in the QA systems.
- Evaluate cause and effect.
- Incorporate revisions to the process to achieve better efficiency.
- Revise to reflect current production environment.
- Proficient in HACCP principles and implementations.
- Implement a program of training to employees, documentation, review, and verification.
- Manage proper manpower needs to the department.
- Ensure QA activities are being performed with appropriate manpower.
- Oversee the instructions for product coding procedures, verification, and listings provided by the customers.
- Provide technical support as the plant spokesperson in the matters of food safety and quality.
- Interact with customers to provide needed information, problem solving, and corrective actions if required.
- Oversee the process of formulation, production to distribution daily.
- experienced in the accountability for maintaining developing, and implementing manufacturing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the quality of our products.
Skills :
- SQF Practioner
- Demonstrated Leadership
- Expertise in the areas of food safety, research, development, and plant regulatory affairs.
- Knowledge of food purchasing, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and packaging.
- MS Office, ERP systems.
Education :
Bachelor's degree required, field of study : Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
SQF Practioner status required.
Experience :
10 years in related functions and demonstrated ability to work well with executive leadership and multiple departments. Two years in a manufacturing environment under USDA or FDA.
