Responsibilities :
- Review preliminary title reports, formation documents and escrow instruction, prepare (or work with Bank attorney) loan documentation, ensure accuracy and compliance with approval terms, laws and Bank policy.
- Coordinate with title and escrow companies for funding and recording documents to ensure timely loan closing.
- Coordinate with Note Dept. for boarding of new loans, renewals, extensions and modifications; and ensure all necessary fees and charges are collected.
- Check the Bank’s lien position upon receipt of the title policy against the property profile report.
- Ensure all required documentation related to the construction component of new loans is obtained prior to loan closing, including but not limited to construction and architect / engineer’s contracts, construction budgets, and other documentation required by Policy.
- Process audit confirmation requests from borrowers and loan participants’ accounting firms.
- Submit invoices for expenses incurred by a borrower during the loan underwriting process to Accounting Dept. for issuance of payment checks.
Keep record of fees prepaid by a borrower; and balance and prepare monthly certification of GL accounts assigned to Credit Dept.
- Processing, including the detailed review of all third-party reports associated with each transaction type.
- Supporting business officers and business managers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by Head Office, or as assigned by the manager.
- Verify data input in various bank systems.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
