Work Schedule : Variable hours and every other weekend and special events. You will be furloughed at various times throughout the year (summers, spring break, Christmas break, etc.
due to the unique nature of B-W’s academic calendar.

Job Summary : Responsible to assist with set-up, preparation and serve food on the line in campus dining and cashier.
Duties and Responsibilities : The following duties are not to be considered a complete list of duties and responsibilities assigned to this position.
- Assist with completely set-up, operate, serve and tear down your assigned workstation following the appropriate timeline.
- Cashier as necessary, by properly ringing up orders, making correct change, balancing drawer, filling our appropriate paperwork and suggestive selling.
- Prepare and serve high quality food for your designated area according to computerized production sheets, observing and recording proper temperatures, timing and sanitation procedures.
Preparation and service includes but is not limited to all stations within the scatter style servery.
- Serve as Catering Wait staff.
- Maintain cleanliness by following proper sanitation procedures with equipment, work area and proper food handling, as mandated by HACCP regulations.
- Report to work on time and promote personal hygiene by following proper sanitation methods and appropriate dress standards.
Presents a neat, clean appearance.
- Be responsible for notifying a FSW 2 or FSW 3 if you have any problems with day to day issues of customers, served items, recipes, meals, service style or if you need help.
- Complete cleaning assignment regularly.
- Assist in the development of student employees.
- Assist with service summary sheets and other record keeping sheets as needed.
- Must be able to take direction from higher level FSW, crew leaders, event and banquet captains, relief supervisors, supervisors, and management
- Communicate with others to relay pertinent information.
Qualifications :
- Servsafe certified or able to pass classes
- Ability to demonstrate physical dexterity and lift 10 pounds
- Ability to read, write and accurately follow oral and written instruction.
- Basic knowledge of food service terminology and usage.
- Able to work independently as well as with team.
- Able to multi-task
- Presents oneself in a professional manner, following proper conduct and dress code
- Ability to follow direction
