Overview
Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues.
To support the mission of Helio Health, the Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist (CQI Specialist) will provide administrative support to our Compliance Program.
The CQI Specialist will work on a Full-Time basis out of a Helio Health program located in any of the following cities : Syracuse, Rochester, Utica, or Binghamton, NY.
The CQI Specialist will travel throughout these regions periodically for on-site audits, investigations and reviews.
Pay Range : $57,000.00 - $63,000.00
In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for up to a $1,500.00 Sign-On incentive!
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze data relevant to the continuous quality improvement of Helio Health programs.
- Review and make recommendations to program and leadership staff based on data gathered and, or trends identified, to enable data analysis to inform clinical practices.
- Conduct audits of all Helio Health's programs on a scheduled rotation and review audit findings with program leadership, Division Directors, Service Directors, and Officers as appropriate.
- Conduct on-site reviews and visits of programs to assess whether services are being delivered in a manner that is consistent with organizational standards (facilities, clinical practices, etc.).
- Assist with internal investigations and reviews as needed.
- Assist with efforts to comply with investigations conducted by external parties.
- Attend Incident Review Committee and Compliance Committee meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Qualified Health Professional preferred.
- Two years' experience in Substance Use Disorders, Mental Health, primary care, human services, and / or Health Information Technology required.
- An equivalent combination of experience and training may be a substitute for the above.
- Proficient with computers and computer applications including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
