Duties and Responsibilities :
- Instruct undergraduate level courses especially in the Security Sciences BA ICS and BS CS tracks.
- Instruct other undergraduate level courses if needed.
- Responsible for overseeing graduate teaching assistants and advising undergraduate students.
- Mentor students for capstone projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Evidence of at least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching undergraduate courses in general computer science and / or security science.
- Evidence of experience developing new courses for undergraduate programs.
- Ability to teach effectively and to direct group discussions.
- Professional Cyber Security Certification.
Desirable Qualifications :
- Capacity to also teach specific undergraduate courses in Creative Computational Media, Data Science or General Computer Science.
