Purpose of Role : The Distribution Person is responsible for loading and unloading trucks as well as picking and packing customer orders with accuracy.

They will stock parts in a safe and neat manner, bearing in mind size / weight limitations and accurately perform all paperwork / data entry functions associated with shipping / receiving / material handling procedures

Key Responsibilities :

• Warehouse Operations : Locate and pull parts of various sizes and materials to fill machining, assembly, and customer orders, in accordance with warehouse inventory management system and current distribution procedures
• Organizational Efficiency : Stock shelves, racks, or ground locations and store parts in their proper location
• Shipping Preparations : Properly prepare product being shipped, whether packaged in box, on a skid, or in a crate based on size, bulk, and quantity, keeping in mind safety, weight, size, potential damage, and customer domestic / export requirements
• Housekeeping : Perform daily maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and work areas including all designated distribution storage locations, keeping safety in mind at all times
• Safety First : Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to use and navigate a computer
