What You Will Do

Apply hard face filler material to nickel alloy turbine airfoils (blades & vanes) perform plug, lap or seal welds on turbine engine components.

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG).

• 3rd shift Sun -Thurs
• Read and interpret process sheets.
• Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and utilize communication log.
• Must be able to run all equipment and produce product at rate per standard work.
• May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 75% of the time.
• Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment

Qualifications You Must Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
• Proficient with use of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Aptitude for mathematics, including ability to read blueprints, read / work from drawings.
