Prototrak Mill Machinist

Pay rate : $20-28 / hr, based on experience

Sterling Heights, MI

Co. builds tooling / machines for the Big 3

Primary Responsibilities :

Read prints, set up and operate ProtoTRAK Mill to machine details.

Check parts using measuring gages.

Document and update job routers / process sheets as required.

Keep machine and work area clean and organized.

Requirements

3+ experience operating ProtoTRAK Mill or Accurite CNC Mill

will consider manual Mill machining experience to train on the ProtoTrak

Must be able to read prints

Must have experience using measuring gages to check parts.

Work Hours :

Day shift : 6am-4 : 30pm (2nd shift can be accommodated per demand)

Some Saturday’s, approx 6 hours if / when needed

Avg. 45-55 hours per week on average

Permanent job - contract to direct hire
