Olsson has a job opportunity available to work directly with one of the world's largest technology companies. This project will include oversight of demolition, mass grading, and site utilities at a confidential job site near Columbus, OH.
As a Construction Administration Manager, you would be responsible for a complex data center construction project, managing and overseeing the quality of construction activities at the project site.
In this role you will act as a quality assurance manager representing the owner with regards to all construction activities.
Duties include overseeing RFIs and submittals, attendance at project meetings and provide verification overall that the quality documentation of the project is being completed per the owners' requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the quality assurance program at the project site.
- Reads and interprets plans and specifications at various stages of a project.
- Initiates actions needed to keep construction progress on schedule.
- Solves on-site problems and situations regarding construction of the project and design modifications.
- Works in all types of terrain and weather conditions on project sites in various stages of construction.
- Identifies and avoids potential hazards for workers and the public in and around project sites.
This role will involve travel to the project site, with the opportunity to return to a home base typically occurring every 2-3 weeks or approximately every 20 days.
Per diem allowances will be provided as applicable to support travel-related expenses.

- 5 or more years' experience performing construction observation or administration
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and codes
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving history
- Schedule flexibility
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Grade 1, Nuclear Guage Safety Training, and OSHA10 or OSHA30 preferred
- Associate's degree in a construction related field preferred
