Job Title : Construction Site Inspector / Superintendent

Salary Range : $130,000 - $145,000 per year

Reports To : Project Manager / Director of Construction

Job Overview :

Company is seeking experienced Construction Site Inspector / Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgetary guidelines.

The successful candidate will manage onsite teams, liaise with subcontractors, and conduct regular inspections to guarantee the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise all aspects of construction, including planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
  • Monitor work progress, perform inspections, and enforce quality control measures.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings, ensuring compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and enforce all safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve construction issues and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily site activity, progress reports, and any issues or delays that arise.
  • Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Lead project meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on timelines, costs, and project milestones.
  • Ensure that all subcontractors adhere to contract agreements, timelines, and standards of work.
  • Address any concerns or changes in the project scope, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction site management or supervision.
  • Proven experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide site personnel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • OSHA certification or other safety training certifications preferred.
