Work Location is Ramstein AFB, GermanyServes as subject matter expert in support of the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) Health Facilities Division (HFD) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) for medical equipment initial outfitting support providing functional expertise, counsel and advice on medical equipment initial outfitting process efficiencies, procedures and programmatic issues.
Support the administration of medical equipment planning, approval, procurement, installation and property management.Support functions will include : Design Integration (basis for design coordination;
with PHFOs and Design Teams) to include ensuring architect-engineers provide owner with information to develop the IO RFPs.
It also includes the development of strawman / basis for design’ IO documents.IO Acquisition Support : Planning, requirement definition, request for proposal / statement of work development and acquisition support, etc.
Attending IO execution meetings and site visits.Review IO execution submittals and correspondence (Submittals, Requests for Information, Modification Management, etc.
Oversee IO execution / transition during initial outfitting and critical activation / turnover period.Program support includes $425M in Design / Construction work and $94M in IO work at bases in Germany, England, and Italy.
Travel will be required.Requirements : 5+ years military Medical Equipment Planning with experience on US DoD military medical or VA projectsExperience managing large IO&T projects for healthcare facilitiesJoint Commission, Facilities, Engineering, US DoD military medical design and / or construction code and standards experience required.
Excellent time management under tight schedules and deadlinesExceptional customer service mindset and deliveryAbility to communicate clearly and effectively via oral or written means including making oral presentationsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of DMLSSEOE, including disability / vets.
